Guidelines for Face Template Conversion

The following are the guidelines to ensure successful face template conversion:

 

• IXM Face Convert will convert good and average quality templates only. Average quality face images may require re-enrollment in case of unsuccessful authentication. No conversion will take place in case of poor or low-quality face images.

• Conversion will not take place if there is a failure to detect face in the image.

• Orientation of the image should be proper.

• The face should be facing forward and looking straight at the camera.

• Eyes should be open.

• Conversion will not take place in case of an incorrect pose that includes:

  • Raised head

  • Lowered head

  • Thick makeup

  • Wearing a mask

  • Wearing a hat

  • Smiling

  • Dark background
